Katelyn Fusco is the creator and host of the Happy Homebirth Podcast and Happy Homebirth Academy. She is the mama of two sweet girls and a two-times-home-birther, as well as a student midwife. All that to say, she’s been around the block in the birthing community. I was SO honored to have her ask me to photographer her newborn session last year! The number one statement I get when people ask about the In Home Newborn session is ‘my house just isn’t clean enough/pretty enough to shoot here’. When I shoot an In Home Newborn Session, my goal isn’t to shoot your house. My goal is to capture your family. Most families post-baby don’t have the energy or desire to deep clean and stage their home for a photoshoot, and I’m here to tell you that I don’t need a clean house to capture your family’s moments! In Home Newborn sessions are meant to be a glimpse into your normal, but also, I’m a mess-avoidance-ninja.
